J&K students Association here on tuesday welcomed the order issued by the School Education Department on Monday to repatriate ReT teachers to their original place of postings. In a Statement issued General Secretary of Association Danish Lone said Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) recruitment policy was grossly violated from time to time by transferring a number of such teachers temporarily from their original place of postings to other places on flimsy pretaxes against the ReT recruitment policy and the said order was need of moment.
He said that, the recently issued order by SED for retrieving RET teachers to their original postings Is highly appreciative. With this order the underlying objective of RET scheme, that is operationalization of the schooling system at the gross root level can be fulfilled.
Additional spokesperson Association, umer jamal said that, We are hopeful now the purpose of this scheme will be served to best of the interest of students and policies of this scheme by immediate implementation of this said order at gross root level. Association had seen violation of this scheme from time to time and highlighted and vigorously pursued the matter with the J&K government and with School education department and today that it yielded desired results. The order should be implemented at gross root level in letter and spirit, umer added.
