Kupwara Jan 30 :District development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din today convened District Task Force DTF meeting to review arrangements for Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI)programme in the district.
ADC Kupwara Nazir Ahmad Lone , Chief Medical Officer Dr Kounser Amin, DHO Dr Abdul Gani Dar, MS Handwara Dr Nissar Ahmad ,Deputy CMO Dr Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, DMEIO Ghulam Rasool Bhat , BMOs , CDPOs, officers of the Police Department and other concerned attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that 130677 children will be immunized in 738 Pulse Polio Immunization (PPI) centres set up across the district. It was given out that 2952 employees have been deployed to implement the programme including 1289 staff members from health department, 954Asha workers, 675 ICDS workers. Besides, 74NGOs are also taking part in the programme.
On the occasion, the DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure smooth conduction of program throughout the district.
