Kulgam, Jun 02 : A Bank Manager of Elaqahi Dehati Bank, Branch Kulgam, who was shot at and injured in Southern district of Kashmir, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a Bank manager of Elaqahi Dehati Bank was fired upon by militants when he was on duty at Arreh Mohanpora Branch in Kulgam.
The injured identified as Vijay Kumar of Rajasthan was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment.
However, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, the officials said.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
