Kupwara:74nd Independence day 2020 has been celebrated in District Police Lines Kupwara, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Shri Anshul Garg – IAS accompanied by SSP Kupwara Shri Shriram Ambarkar-IPS unfurled the National Flag and took the salute on the March Past presented by contingents of JKP, CRPF, IRP, Home Guard, Fire services and NCC.
All senior Police, Army, paramilitary and civil officers of the district were present on the occasion. Colourful cultural programs were also presented by the artists. Prizes were also distributed among the participants of March past and cultural programme contingents.As a gesture to the recently IAS qualifier Nadia Beigh from this frontier district. A momentou was presented to her by DC/SSP Kupwara.
