Handwara, Feb 25:-
Handwara Police under the Civic Action Programme facilitated a Bharat Darshan tour for the students of Handwara .
The tour is an initiative to support youth related activities and provide them with an opportunity to travel to the other parts of country and acquire knowledge about the historical places located in the country.
The tour was flagged off today by SP Handwara
Dr G V Sundeep Chakravarthy IPS . The Civil society members and other senior police officers were also present at the event.
SP Handwara,while interacting with the students wished them a happy journey and advised them to make full use of this opportunity in order to enrich their knowledge.
SP Handwara said that police is committed to the welfare of youth & students and more such events will be sponsored by JK Police in coming days.
