In continuation of its efforts to aware people about the importance of vaccination, GOONJ NGO in collaboration with Medical Block Sogam conducted Covid vaccination awareness programs and medical camps in “Kawawari village” of Sogam area of Kupwara district.
As the vaccination programme has been launched to vaccinate the people against covid infection there are various misunderstandings among the people about the authenticity and various myths related to covid vaccine.
Dr.Fareed Chaurdhary, Block Medical Officer Sogam ,Dr. Ashraf Nodel Officer covid 19, Dr.Zahoor and CHO Zareefa Ji talked in detail about the importance of vaccination and how it’s effective in bring down the risk of getting covid infection.
GOONJ NGO team member, Jammu and Kashmir, Fayaz Ahmad mobilised the people in this rural village and also helped in medical camp, where GOONJ distributed more than 150 covid 19 medical kits.
