According to official data around Rs 50 crore are being spent on this road however according to locals only 30 per cent work has been concluded so far that is two in a long four years. “It takes us more than an hour to reach Shopian which can be travelled in 15 minutes,” said another local.
Locals once again appealed to the authorities to speed up the development work on the road so that masses in the area would not face problems any more.
