Srinagar, May 24: Police today said that on social media platforms a rumour is being spread that in Mitrigam, security forces have fired resulting in injuries and one civilian got killed.
This is absolutely false and baseless, no firing has taken place, said an Police officer.
General public is appealed not to pay heed to such rumours, necessary legal action has been initiated against such rumour mongers.
