Kupwara, May 11: Police claimed to have arrested a person along with Army and recovered ten grenades and 182 rounds of Ak-47 rifle from a militant associate (An ex-militant) who was arrested in Kralpora on Tuesday.
An official said that the army 160 Territorial Army and SOG Kralpora arrested the “militant associate” Abdul Ahad Lone based on specific information. “10 grenades and 182 Ak-47 rounds” have been recovered from his possession.
The arrested man was associated with Al-Badr formerly as reported by news gathering agency GNS.
The police said further investigation is going on. A source confirmed to kupwaratimes.com that security forces have raided his house too to further find out his involvement.
