Srinagar, Dec 29: An encounter started between militants and security forces at Lawaypora area of Srinagar outskirts, officials said.
They said that firing started between militants and forces after joint team of forces spotted a few suspected persons in the area.
“Entire area has been cordoned off,” an official told news agency (KNO)
Kashmir police on its official Twitter handle also confirmed that an encounter has started at Lawaypora area of Srinagar.
