Kupwara:- ELFA International, J&K has been working in close coordination with Kupwara District Administration, Department of Health, organization distributed/donated emergency supplies like, Hand Sanitizers, Face Masks, PPE, Hand Gloves at different Health Centres of Kupwara, Ganderbal and Baramulla including CMO Kupwara, BMO Trehgam and DC office Kupwara. Organization so far distributed around 2500 units of emergency supplies among various district, sub-district, and state run hospitals and among different frontline workers including Jammu & Kashmir Police in district Kupwara.
The emergency response and the work of the organization has been appreciated by the authorities. The Mayor of Srinagar city, DC Srinagar and District Administration Srinagar appreciated organization’s work through their formal tweets and today by district administration Kupwara.
The Chief Executive (CEO) of the organization Mr. Mehran Khan said that the organization is committed to work in these difficult and testing times for the welfare of people of Jammu & Kashmir and planning to strengthen their response and try to arrange ration packs for the needy people in the 2nd phase of the emergency response.
Distribution in Kupwara was coordinated by ELFA International’s district coordinator Kifayat Hussain Wani and present at occasion was Showket Masoodi the convener civil society Kupwara.
