Kupwara, July 15: To ensure containment and management of COVID-19, District Magistrate Kupwara today declared Maqdam Mohallah Batergam Tehsil Kupwara, Tantray Mohalla and Mir Mohalla of Village Dahama Tehsil Villgam as Red Zones and has prohibited inward and outward movement of any persons from the red zones. The people have been ordered to stay indoors strictly.
As per the order, the surrounding of Red Zone villages have been declared as buffer zones and inhabitants of these areas shall also restrict their movement and shall not allow relatives/ visitors to visit their homes without the written permission of concerned Administrator.
Tehsildar Kupwara and Tehsildar Villgam have been designated Administrators of respective Red Zones. The Concerned officers and assisting officials have been directed to act as per the guidelines.
