Kupwara: District Industries Centre (DIC) Kupwara today on 2nd of November 2020 organised an online training programme for registration of MSME units on GEM portal at General Manager DIC Kupwara office.
During the programme, a detailed training on procedure of online GeM registration was imparted by the business facilitator GeM (J&K) to the unit holders.
On the occasion unit holders were stressed upon by the attending officials to register themselves on GeM portal which would enable them to be part of a national level platform to sell their products.
The organisers briefed the unit holders that GeM portal facilitates online procurement of common use Goods and Services required by various Government Departments/ Organizations and PSUs aims to enhance transparency, efficiency and speed in public procurement by providing e-bidding, reverse e-auction and demand aggregation.
On the occasion General Manager DIC Kupwara,Sale TAX officer kupwara and LDM kupwara briefed the unit holders regarding various government schemes and recent measures taken by Goi for industries.
