Deputy Commissioner visit families of fire victims at Tregam, Assured affected families of all necessary assistance.
Kupwara, Dec 07: District Commissioner Kupwara Ms Ayushi Sudan, today, visited the families affected by the fire incident that took place on the intervening night of 6th and 7th Dec, at Tregam kupwara, expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the grieving families.
During the visit, DC assured affected families of all necessary assistance. DC expressed gratitude to community for thier courage and cooperation. She said that District Administration stands with the families affected by this tragic incident.
The DC also met with local authorities, emergency responders, and volunteers who played a crucial role in managing the aftermath of the incident.
Instant relief kits consisting of blankets, utensils and tarpaulin were distributed among the affected families by Tehsildar concerned.
Meanwhile DC directed Tehsildar concerned to submitt the cases for consideration under SDRF.
