KUPWARA, JULY 15: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Anshul Garg today convened a meeting of concerned engineers to review the pace and progress of various ongoing development projects in the district.

The DDC reviewed project wise status of works and it was informed that 7 development projects are at the final stage of completion in different parts of the district.
The DDC also took stock of the progress of 5 new developmental projects, the work of which are expected to be started soon.
The DDC stressed upon the executing agencies to ensure completion of the projects so that these could be dedicated to the public this week. The DDC said that by commissioning of these projects, Kupwara district will witness a sea change in the development profile.
Joint Director Planning, Abdul Majeed, DGM, JKPCC; DGM Housing Board; Executive Engineers R&B Division Kupwara and Handwara, Executive Engineer SPDC Kupwara, and other concerned attended the meeting.
