Directs officers to accelerate development across district
KUPWARA, FEBURARY 05 : District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of developmental works taken under Back to Village 3rd and 14 FC Programme in the district.
The DDC got appraisal from the concerned officers and was informed that 1099 different works have been taken in hand in 385 panchayats of the district including border areas of kanah, keran and Machil.
It was informed in the meeting that 721 works have got Administrative Approval, while as to ensure speedily disposal of works programme, it was decided that concerned officers shall accord Administrative approval according to their competence.
The DDC also reviewed the progress of development works under 14 FC and it was decided that works plan shall be finalized within one week . The Concerned officers hav been vested powers to accord administrative approval.
The DDC stressed upon the officers to accelerate the developmental tempo in the district, adding that people of the district have pinned hope on Administration for quick and speedy development of the district.
The DDC also stressed upon the concerned officers to work in coordination so that better results could come out at ground level.
Among others, Jiont Director Planing, Abdul Majeed, Assistant Commissioner Development, District Panchayat Officers, Chief Medical Officer, were present, besides other concerned.
