KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 28: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Anshul Garg today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements put forth by Rural Development Department (RDD) for conducting of Back to Village Programme Phase 3rd (B2V3) in the district. Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Mohammad Ashraf Bhat; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone were also present, on the occasion.
The meeting discussed threadbare arrangements for conducting of various activities by RDD in all 385 panchayats of the district during the B2V3 Programme. These activities among others, include inauguration of 2 game events in every Panchayat by the concerned visiting officer, inauguration of atleast one work at Panchayat level and distribution of benefits under various schemes like PMAY, Solar lights etc.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to closely coordinate all relevant activities to be carried out during the ambitious Back to Village-III programme. He directed the concerned officers to ensure adequate time is given to every Panchayat for organizing of necessary activities alongwith Visiting Officers.
Later, the DDC took a detailed review of wage payment status of various works under RDD sector.
Assistant Commissioner Development(ACD), Mehraj-u-din Shah; Executive Engineer, REW; Block Development Officers, AEEs and other concerned attended the meeting.
