Kupwara, November 21: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Anshul Garg today inaugurated signature campaign for Child Line 1098, a project supported by Union Ministry of Women and Child Development, here at DC office premises.
The aim of the signature campaign is to insure awareness about Child rights, care and protection.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Nazir Ahmad Lone , project coordinator of Child line , District Information Officer, and other concerned also participated in the signature campaign .
It was informed on the occasion that any person can dial toll free number 1098( 24×7) to help any missing children ,abused children, run away children or children in need of medical assistance .
Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for holding such awareness campaign in rural areas also.
