kupwaratimes.com : Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Imam Din on wednesday said that the Government is committed to uplift the socio-economic status of the people living in far off, hilly and far off areas of Kupwara district by providing equal opportunities of development in these areas.
During his visit to Dardpora village of Lolab DC addressed Public Darbar and heard the people’s grievances patiently and issued directions to the concerned officers for immediate redressal of the grievances of the people.
Few of the issues projected by the stake holders of the area pertaining to basic amenities including widening of roads, NTP health center, Bank, upgradation of Girls high schools the Deputy Commissioner said that he will take these matters with the higher authorities while as the widening of main road if the people of area are ready to provide their land he will direct concerned officials for its widening.
DC Kupwara gave on spot directions to R&B officers to macademise the roads as soon as possible in the area whereas many issues were resolved on spot.
The public darbar was attended by civil and police officers including SDM Lolab, Tehsildar Lalpora, DySP Lolab, SHO Lalpora and other officials besides many other degnetaries were present.
