KUPWARA, JANUARY 30: Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Imam Din today flagged off a group of 24 school children for games tour to Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu Division.
These students belong to different schools of Kupwara district.The group include Boys contingent who will play Inter District State level Kho Kho under 19 and Kabaddi under 14 years.
Speaking at the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that sports is the basic element which help students to grow physically. He urged upon the student community to always take interest in sports, apart from their curricular activities. He asked District Youth Services and Sports Officer to arrange more and more tours so that students from every area of the district could get chance to visit other parts of the country.
