KUPWARA, MARCH 24: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today flagged off 70 students of various Higher Secondary Schools of Kupwara district for exposure visit under Prime Minister’s Krishi Senchayie Yojna (PMKSY) to SKAUST-Wadura Campus and other government agriculture farms.

          The tour was aimed at to give the students knowledge about precission/ effective use of irrigation to combat the forth coming challenges on irrigation developed due to global warming.

          Speaking at the occasion, Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the students to make best use of exposure tour by learning the know how regarding scientific techniques of agriculture science.

          He asked Chief Agriculture Officer Kupwara to ensure such tours in future also so that students get knowlege and exposure regarding the agriculture science and farming.

          ADDC Kupwara, Mohammad Ashraf Bhat; Chief Agriculture Officer, Nazir Ahmad Wani and other concerned were present at the occasion.
