Kupwara: Chairman Muncipal Council Kupwara has greeted people on the very auspicious occasion of Shabi-e-Qadr and being observed tonight and prayed for the wellbeing of the people.
In his message, Reyaz Ahmad Mir while extending hearty greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Qadr said the occasion is very pious and unique in which Almighty Allah revealed the Quran on his beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW, besides providing us with the best opportunity to seek mercy and forgiveness from Him.
He further said the Holy Qur’an was the best gift from the Almighty to mankind guiding us to differentiate between right and wrong.
Mir hoped the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Qadr will usher in an era of complete peace.
He urged the people to pray for end pandemic and follow COVID SOPs in letter and spirit.
