Srinagar, Apr 24 : The Central EPFO kashmir division bids farewell to its retiring official Lateef Ahmad Zargar,Area Enforcement Officer and Shri Ali Mohamad Shah.
Both had long tenure of around 40years. Majority of tenre included services in JKEPFO & ended with services in central EPFO in April 2025. The farewell function was organised at Epfo regional office srinagar located at 1st and 2nd floors of labour commissioner building in Batmaloo, Srinagar.
Central EPFO is providing PF(Provident Fund) pension, and insurance benefits governed under EPF & MP Act 1952, epf scheme 1952, eps scheme 1995, EDLI scheme 1976 to all eligible members of Kashmir valley.
Meanwhile EPFO Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Vinay Kumar said that since there is huge default & non compliance on the part of establishments towards extending these provisions of said Act and Schemes towards people of kashmir valley,
this regional office is working to effectively secure social security benefits to all eligible people of kashmir.
Compliance and enforcement of these acts and schemes are being extended to all 10 districts of Kashmir valley under the overall supervision of Shri Vinay Kumar Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Kashmir division.
For all provident fund(EPF), pension(EPS), insurance (EDLI) and related issues, any subscriber/ establishment/aggrieved person can also meet Regional Provident Fund Commissioner/Officer incharge for holistic resolution of their issues.
