Kupwara, Apr 11: A middle-aged person working as carpenter in Karnah area of frontier Kupwara district died of cardiac arrest Saturday afternoon.
Reports reaching here said that the person identified as Manzoor Ahmad son of Ghulam Qadir belonging to Drugmulla area of the district suffered a major cardiac arrest, resulting in his on-the-spot death.
The deceased as per reports had been working in Badwan area of Karnah for last twenty days.
A team led by Naib-Tehsildar Karnah, Abdul Qayoom visited the spot on the directions of SDM Karnah to obtain an on ground report.
Confirming the death, an official said that the body of deceased is lying at SDH Tanghdar, while adding that it (body) will be handed over to the family after all legal formalities for last rites. (GNS)
