NHM Association terms his demise as ‘big loss’
Srinagar, July 02: The National Health Mission Employees’ Association has suffered a massive jolt as Director Finance H&ME Mohammad Rafiq dies in AIIMS Delhi on Friday and his departure has send shock waves to NHM association.
Mohammad Rafiq, a senior KAS officer, breathed his last on Friday morning in Delhi where he was shifted for surgery after suffering a stroke at his home just few days back.
The Association termed the deceased as an upright officer who strived hard to ameliorate the suffering of the underprivileged in the society.
“It is a setback to the administration in general and the medical fraternity in particular as Mohammad Rafiq left us very early.Whenever there was any grievance,his doors were always open.He would welcome everyone with a smiling face”, said Muneer Andrabi, the Association president. “His departure has left us in heartbroken”.
Association vice president Altaf Ahmad said: “Rafiq sahib was always ready with help whenever needed.His devotion for social work and upgradation of healthcare infrastructure remain unmatched”.He said that Rafiq sahib had a soft corner for NHM employees and would often hail their services to the common people despite extreme hardships.His departure has send shock waves to the NHM association”,Vice president added,
The Association office bearers conveyed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased officer and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
