KUPWARA, AUGUST 10: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Imam Din, an awareness rally regarding COVID-19, was taken off from Boys HS Supernaghama today. The rally, coordinated by District Information Centre Kupwara , was attended by school children from BHSS M H Pora, HS Mandigam and HS Supernaghama besides Angan Wadi Workers of ICDS, ASHAs of health department, went through various markets of Kralgund and culminated at BMS Kralgund. The students were seen with placards and banners in their hands displaying message that people in general should not show any negligence with regard to compliance of Covid Appropriate Behaviour. The message was that people should not lower the guard against COVID-19 pandemic, else should follow COVID-19 SOPs in letter and spirit.
The rally was flagged off by Headmaster HS Supernaghama Gh Mohi ud din in presence of concerned officers. The programme was coordinated by the Nodal Officer G M Dar. The rally was conducted as part of Azadi ka amrut MAHAOTSAV .
The rally was escorted by SHO PS Kralgund M Iqbal , PETs and school teachers up to BMS Kralgund.
