Handwara, April 27 (KNS): Superintendent of Police Handwara Dr GV Sandeep on Monday said that incidents like assault on media personnel won’t be tolerated and assured strict action against the involved.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a delegation of Handwara Media Association (HMA) met SP Handwara and discussed the matter with police officer and appealed him to make every Naka party aware that such incidents shouldn’t be repeated. SDPO Handwara Tariq Mehmood was also present during the meeting.
It is pertinent to mention that On-line Editor KNS Aatif Qayoom on March 26 was abused and assaulted by cops while he was returning home. (KNS)
