Srinagar, Mar 8 : An army solider allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself death with his service rifle in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district last night, officials said on Monday.
The solider identified as Triverd Prakash of D-Coy 06 RR took the extreme step at Shakti post Keran at around 2145 hours, the officials told.
It was not immediately know as to why the soldier took the extreme step.
