Army organised a motivational lecture cum presentation on Freedom Struggle on 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence in the Girls Higher Secondary School at Kandi.
Students were educated about the importance of the struggle for freedom and how Nation got its independence due to the struggle by Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabh bhai patel, Pandit Jawar lal Nehru and various other important freedom fighters. The lecture culminated with the National anthem.
A total of 64 girls and 12 staff members attended the lecture. The students and staff were mesmerised by the struggle faced by these freedom fighters in providing independence to the nation. Their Patriotism could be seen by the kind of interest shown by students in asking questions post lecture.
The students and staff thanked the Indian Army for such a motivating lecture and enhancing their knowledge on Freedom Struggle.
