ARMY & CIV ADM ORGANISE MEDICAL CAMP IN LOLAB

Kupwara, Sep 08: A Medical camp was organized by Army and Civ Adm in Lolab Valley as an unique gesture to alleviate the hardship of local populace from remote areas. Indian Army and Civil administration came together with shared resources to establish medical camp for the local people.

The camp was organized at the Govt Boys & Girls Higher Secondary School, Varnau, Lolab wherein 03 Medical Officer, 01 Lady Medical Officer(Gynaecologist), One Eye Specialist, 04 Nursing Assistants from Army along with 01 Medical Officers from Civil Health Department worked tirelessly on 08 Sep 2021 to provide medical support to 380 males, patients, 340 females and 98 children. Besides routine medical checkup, special emphasis was laid on screening of people in vulnerable age groups for life style diseases.

Specialist advise and awareness on COVID, AIDS, Family planning and immunisation was also imparted. The community leaders expressed their satisfaction and happiness over the initiative taken by the Indain Army and Civil Administration.
