Kupwara: Social-Political activist, Adnan Shah has conveyed heartiest congratulations to people of the Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
In his message, Adnan said, May this festival promote and maintain inter-religious understanding and co-existence and instill the spirit of brotherhood, harmony, and amity among the people of all faiths, he said.
Urging the people to celebrate Eid with simplicity, Adnan said that Allah commands us to be not amongst those who indulge in extravagance, which He dislikes. He also made a fervent appeal to the people to avoid wastage of food and resources and be conscious towards their neighbours, orphans and the needy so that they also become part of the Eid celebrations.
In view of the emerging situation, he urged the people to celebrate this festival in adherence to the guidelines and norms issued by the administration.
