ADC Kupwara chairs Public Darbar cum Grievance Redressal Camp at Budnamal

KUPWARA, SEPTEMBER 1: District Administration Kupwara today organized a Public Darbar cum Grievance  Redressal Camp at far flung area Budnamal of Reddi Chowkibal block in Kupwara District. The camp was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat.
      DDC Member Chowkibal, Habibullah Beigh; BDC Chairperson,  Firdous Ahmad; Tehsildar Kralpora, BDO, BMO, SHO, besides, PRIs, general public and officers/representatives from various departments attended the day long public darbar.
     Addressing the Public Darbar, the ADC said that Government is committed to ensure equitable development of all areas especially far flung areas like Budnamal. He assured the people of Budnamal of every possible support from the District Administration for redressal of their developmental issues and grievances.
Regarding Education, the ADC directed the concerned ZEO for deployment of required teachers in local schools to ensure proper Teacher Student ratio.
Regarding drug addiction, the ADC asked the people to identify the drug affected persons if any in their areas as the government is ensuring their rehabilitation so that they can live a dignified live.
Earlier, DDC Member, PRIs and prominent citizens put forth developmental issues and grievances pertaining to the population of Budnamal area.
      The ADC heard them patiently and passed onspot directions to the concerned officers for redressal of they issues of the people.  He assured them that he will take up remaining issues with the higher ups for their timely resolution.   He said that he will take review on October 15 to see the progress of grievance redressal.
    The Officers also replied the grievances of the people on the spot and informed them about various schemes of their respective departments.
Executive Engineer LBDDA Kupwara provided detailed awareness to the people about the development of homestays in the area to promote border tourism and livelihood of the local unemployed youth. 
Later, the ADC visited High School Budnamal and interacted with the students and teachers. He also distributed participation certificates among the school children who had participated in Independence Day function at DPL Kupwara.
