KUPWARA, MARCH 13: As per the directions of Chief Secretary, J&K UT, the District Administration Kupwara in collaboration with Education Department celebrated ‘AAZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSOV’ programme and conducted various events across the district.
Meanwhile, Education department Kupwara organised Essay Writing Competition, Painting and Debate Competitions on the theme ‘India’s Struggle for Independence’ in 41 Higher Secondary Schools of the district. 2235 students from class 9th to 12th participated in the competition.
The CEO Kupwara, Abdul Hamid Fani informed that during the ongoing Maha Utsav programme, various competitions will be organised at School Cluster level, Zonal level, District and Divisional Level under the supervision of Nodal Officers nominated by the Department.
Meanwhile, District Legal Services Authority Kupwara under the banner ‘Legal Literacy Campaign’ celebrated the event in collaboration with Cultural Education Wing, Chief Education Office Kupwara. On the occasion, Legal Literacy Clubs were established in various Higher Secondary and High Schools of the District.
Moreover, the live telecast of launch of the programme by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi was also watched by the participants in the district.
