NARCOTIC DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED VEHICLE SEIZED BEARING REGISTRATION NO. JK06- 2018 TATA SUMO.
Sopore, 11 April 2020: Continuing its drive against drug peddlers, on 10 April 2020, Sopore Police arrested two narcotic drug peddlers during vehicular checking point laid at Chinar crossing Warpora. The arrested persons have been identified as Hilal Ahmad War @ Shakir S/O Mohammad Shafi War R/O Warpora and Ishafq Ahmad Reshi S/O Mohammad Ashraf Reshi R/O Watlab and have been involved in selling of narcotic substances in general area of Sopore. From the possession of the arrested persons 1300 grams of charas was recovered during the vehicle search. Case FIR Number 71/2020 U/S 8/20,29 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Sopore.General Public of Sopore is requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in neighborhood area. Our consistent actions against drug peddlers should reassure the community members that we are making efforts to keep our society free from the source of drug menace. Person found indulging in any criminal activities shall be dealt as per law. General Public has applauded this act of Police.
