Kupwara, April 20: In compliance with the Government Order, Sub Divisional Magistrate(SDM) Karnah Dr Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat today ordered partial resumption of Agricultural activities in the sub division. In this connection 100 quintal Hybrid seeds of Maize were distributed among the farmers of three agricultural zones i.e Tangdar, Gabbra and Chamkote including Home delivery in Red Zone area Bagbella, buffer zones Shamspora and Budwan.
The SDM informed that 60 quintal of Red Rice has been delivery already. Also vegetables seeds of Broccoli, lettuce , Tomatoes, Capsicum, Tomato, Chilli etc has already been distributed among the farmers of Tangdar and Teetwal blocks. Regarding fertilizers, the SDM has ordered early distribution of fertilizers in Red Zones through five registered dealers and one
Cooperative unit. The fertilizers will be delivered at the doorsteps of farmers in these areas.
