Kupwara, September 8: J&K Aids Control Society in collaboration with Health Department Kupwara today organised a day long Sensitization cum Awareness programme regarding COVID-19 here at Markazi Darul-Uloom Dudwan. The Awareness programme was aimed at to sensitize the religious scholars regarding preventive measures against COVID-19 pandemic.
On the occasion, various experts from Health Department provided information about the effects and safety measures against COVID-19. The experts emphasized the need of following the preventive measures including maintaining of social distancing and wearing of masks to protect themselves from the pandemic disease.
Assistant Director J&K Aids Control Society, Imtiyaz Khan; District Tuberclosis Officer, Mohammad Ramzan, and Health experts, besides, Religious scholars across the district, participated in the programme.
