Srinagar, The Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission Employees on thursday expressed their deep resentment and concern over the non payable of the monthly wages on regular intervals.
Abdul Rauoof Chief Spokesperson of JKNHMEA said nearly Eleven Thousands Employees working under the ambit of National Health Mission in different hospitals across the UT-J&K are working tirelessly without being credited salary from last two months.
These frontline workers are performing their legitimate duties without being credited salaries on time and emphasized the impact of delayed wages on their families, noticing that children’s education is at risk due to unpaid fees.
The employees urged the authorities to redress the grievances of salary on priority.
They
said that it has become a habit on part of government that they never release the salary to NHM employees on timely basis despite these desperate times we are working 24/7 hrs and augments the health services to general masses, but in return we have been deprived from our basic dues,
Incumbent President of JKNHMEA Muneer Andrabi has urged Hon’ble LG-JK UT to address the demand at an earliest.
“There is complete apathy on part of the government and nothing seems to
move. The authorities are forcing us to hit the streets, we provide health care not only in urban but also in rural and far off hospitals of J&K UT. We have on several occasions raised our genuine demands and grievances before but the assurances have proved to be a hoax”, alleges, the Chief Spokesperson of the Association, Abdul Rauoof
