The Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Chaudhary along with the MLA Lolab Qaysar Jamshaid Lone today held a review meeting at the office of the Deputy Chief Minister to assess the progress of ongoing developmental works in the Lolab constituency.
The meeting was also attended by the Superintending Engineers (SEs), Executive Engineers (XENs) and Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) from the Public Works Department (R&B) and PMGSY.
During the meeting, MLA Qaysar Jamshaid Lone took project wise updates from the concerned officers and reviewed the progress of various ongoing works. He directed the officials to expedite execution, maintain quality standards and ensure timely completion of all projects within the stipulated timelines.
The MLA emphasised the need for regular monitoring and better coordination among the departments to address bottlenecks and avoid unnecessary delays. He stressed that all ongoing developmental works must be completed efficiently, keeping the needs of the people of Lolab in mind.
The officers assured the Dy CM and the MLA Lolab that winter preparations will be monitored earliest and that machinary and manpower will be available throughout the winter.
