Kupwara: Kupwara Police today facilitated an educational and awareness visit of students and staff members of Child Care Pre School Lolab to Police Station Sogam with the objective of promoting awareness and strengthening police-public relations among the younger generation.
During the visit, the students were sensitized about the functioning of the police station, duties and responsibilities of police personnel, emergency response mechanisms, and the role of police in maintaining law & order and ensuring public safety. The visiting students also interacted with police officials in a cordial and friendly atmosphere and showed keen interest in understanding the day-to-day functioning of the police department.
The programme was organized as part of the community outreach initiatives of Kupwara Police aimed at building trust, confidence, and awareness among children regarding the public service role of Jammu & Kashmir Police.
