Kupwara, November 30: In Town Hall Kupwara during the training for elections and Covid-19 guidelines session, no Covid-SOPs were followed and even people were allowed without masks.
A reliable source present in the session told Kupwara Times on wishing anonymity that around 250 people were called for training session in Town Hall, where maximum 100 people can gather, for elections and Covid-19 guidelines but no SOPs were followed. “We objected to it. The authorities didn’t bother and they continued. Covid-19 guidelines training session and Covid-19 guidelines is a hoax. No one bothers for our lives and even for the common masses”.
Ironically, during first phase of elections no covid SOPs were followed or Strictly implemented for voters. The election staff could be seen without N-95 masks and hand sanitizers at various polling stations.
