A Gramsabha was organised in Manigah C with officials from RDD and PHE department. The villagers along with panchs and sarpanchs. The villagers brought out the pending road construction works in Manigah and Hajinaka since last year. The officials assured the villagers that the it will be resumed soon after the present spell of rains. Also drain works along the roads in Glassdaji, Manjhar and Salabathu were discussed.
PHE officials were presented with long pending water pipeline connections to homes in upper reaches of Manigah. The officials promised that the issue will be discussed with department heads and will be resolved at the earliest.
The Gramsabha was helpful in bringing the villagers and officials face to face and and government representatives to understand the grass root problems. The villagers thanked Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion for such initiatives
