KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 29: On the second consecutive day of Jan Abhiyan activities for MyTown My Pride (MTMP), Phase-2, District Administration Kupwara carried various activities during the day in Muncipal Council Kupwara, Muncipal Committee Handwara and Muncipal Committee Langate.
At MC Kupwara, the president Muncipal Council, Reyaz Ahmad Mir took a meeting with EO Anees Chowdhury and other functionaries and MC Handwara
At Kupwara, an impressive function was held at Town Hall under the chairmanship of President Muncipal Council, Kupwara, Reyaz Ahmad Mir. General awareness regarding various schemes was disseminated during the function.
The EO MC Kupwara, Anis Ahmad Chowdary gave detailed awareness about the different beneficiary oriented schemes/plans including PMAY (U) and PM SVANIDHI, City Livelihood plan, City Smart Vending, Encroachment free town plan, City Tourism & Culture plan, Resource Mobilization plan, City Beautification Plan and Green City plan.
The Cluster Head of J&k Bank also deliver the speech regarding various self financial schemes. Various other departments including Social Welfare, Agricultur ,DUDA participated in in function.
At Handwara , Chairman MC Masoor Ahmad Banday convened a meeting of all concerned officers and gave directions for successful conduct of the prestigious MTMP programme.
The meeting was attended by ASP Handwara, Executive Officer and other concerned.
At Langate, a comprehensive sanitation drive was held at ward Number 9 of the Municipal Committee Langate.
Similarly, other line departments carried out different activities. The Youth Services and Sports department held various sports activities in Handwara Town. The department of Information and PR Kupwara arranged media coverage of all events at local level.
