Jammu: No doubts, so called transfer policy issued by the Govt for issuing transfer orders has never been bothered by lot of bosses by this way or the other. As per sources , Officers has been transferred within months & lot out of district in district cadre posts, which is totally illegal but Govt itself never bothered to act on defaulting officers, raised a pointer on them as well?
Chief Secretary, J&K again in a meeting of Administrative Secretaries informed Administrative Secretaries that in terms of extant regulations, transfers beyond April need prior approval of the CS upto the level of Deputy Secretary and approval of HLG beyond Deputy Secretary.
He further said that no transfer should be effected without approval of competent authority & sought details of transfers effected without approval of competent authority & asked to submit details of transfers without approval to GAD but let us wait & watch, that whether top bosses will submit such details or not?
In last two weeks , Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department has cancelled almost 311 transfer orders which were issued after April. The cancellation transfer orders are lying with kupwaratimes.com.
