KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 10: A joint meeting of District Development Council Kupwara and Officers of District Administration was held here today under the chairmanship of Chairman, District Development Council (DDC), Kupwara, Irfan Pandithpuri
The Vice Chairman DDC, Haji Farooq Mir ; Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din; DDC Members, besides, Joint Director planning, ACD and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
The meeting held threadbare discussion and took many decisions to further accelerate the developmental tempo in the district.
Addressing the meeting, the Chairman DDC said that the objective of the meeting is to review the pace of progress under current financial year’s District Capex Budget.
The Chairman stressed upon the officers to work with added dedication and ensure that all target works could be completed.
The Vice Chairman also spoke on the occasion and projected various developmental issues during his addressed to the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner in his address also urged upon the officers to accelerate the development tempo in the district so that all target works could be completed within the stipulated time frame.
Earlier, the meeting was informed that 358 works pertaining to various departments have been taken up during the current financial year. Out of these 347 works have been tendered and 251 have been allotted.
