Kupwara, Dec 10: Assistant Director food Kupwara Mudasir Ahmad on Thursday requested general public of the district to submit photostat copy of their Aadhar card to their respective store keepers by or before December 15.
Department has already seeded 95 % Aadhar and is going to complete 100 percent seeding of Ration Card holders very soon in order to ensure transparency in distribution of subsidized food grains. “People are requested to cooperate to avoid any inconvenience in future.” The aadhar seeding is beneficial for general public as now anyone can receive monthly ration anywhere in the country through the government initiative of One Nation One Ration Card, said Assistant Director Food Kupwara.
The order has been already issued in order to register the all ration consumers within the district.
The last date for submitting the Aadhar numbers is December 15, he added. (GNS)
