Kupwara, November 12: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir today convened a meeting regarding adherence of COVID 19 guidelines by transporters. The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Handwara, Representatives of ARTO Kupwara, Municipal Officer, Officers from Police and administration, Presidents of Bus and Tata Sumo unions.
On the occasion, the ADC urged upon the transporters to collect fares from the passengers at the rates fixed by the government. He advised them to ensure that COVID-19 guidelines are followed in letter and spirit so that the passengers could travel safely. He directed the concerned officers to ensure that the people park their vehicles at identified places established by the administration.
