Kupwara: Atleast, four persons including a woman constable were injured after the vehicle in which they were traveling skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge in frontier Kupwara district.
The accident took place on Kupwara-Tangdar road at Bagi top. A vehicle without number plate fell down into deep gorge resulting injuries to four persons.
Police identified injured as Mohammad Shafi Bajad son of Sayena Bajad (37), Jabeena Begum wife of Mohammadd Shafi Bajad (35) by profession lady Constable posted at IRP 4th Battalion wayen , Rouif Ahmad Dar son of Gulzar Dar (27) and Nazel Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar (23) all residents of Panzgam. The officer said all injured were taken to SDH Kralpora, where from medical team referred them district hospital Handwara for advanced treatment.
Cause of accident is being ascertained, a police official told Curtain Raiser.
