Administration directs for removing of footpath encroachments in markets
KUPWARA, FEBURARY 04 : On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Imam Din , a market checking squad headed by Tehsildar Kupwara today conducted extensive market checking of different markets of Kupwara Town.
Beside regulation of market price & quality control of essential items,foot paths were got evicted from illegal occupation of shopkeepers and street vendors.
During the process Rs.13100 were recovered as fine from erring shopkeepers,street vendors etc.
On the occasion president Traders Federation,kupwara Showket Ahmad Masoodi assured the team that he will call meeting of all traders ,aware them and take all necessary steps themselves to decongest market and keep available quality eatables in market at fixed fair price .
Among others ,officers of Revenue,police,CAPD,Muncipality & Food safety accompanied the team
