Kupwara:- Sadbhavana is an integral part of the Army’s strategy to amalgamate the populace of J&K in the national mainstream. It addresses the CoG ie local populace to project IA in good light and prepare grnd for a peaceful coexistence and to evict terrorism. It aims at ameliorating the hardships of the common people and step ahead towards devp by better edn and job opportunities. These projects go a long way in enabling and building a strong bedrock for IA addressing the CoG. The avlb resources are utilised effectively to suit the aim. The ‘Capacity Build Tour’ was aimed to provide an opportunity to the local population of the state to witness the devp and interact with the rest of India, so as to identify & associate themselves as integral part of the country. The tour was a part of the ongoing initiative undertaken by Army to improve awareness levels of the students of Gurez Valley.
The aim of this tour was to give girl students of Gurez Valley an exposure by visiting various places in Srinagar and witness rich culture & traditions of the area so as to imbibe and emulate the valuable lessons from the vis in enhancing and uplifting their living conditions.
Vis to Places. The vis was so planned to cover different historical places, mil est and tourist sites in one day. The ultimate aim was to give an exposure to the girls about the rich culture, traditions and royalty of India. The participants vis various places such as Wular Lake, Dal Lake, Mughal Garden, Manasbal Lake/Park & The JAK LI Regt Center.
The tour for the Girl students from Kanzalwan sub-sect was a resounding success in many ways. The students were enthusiastic to learn more about the beauty of Kashmir valley. The tour was very helpful to build a bonding betn the Defence forces and locals which in turn lend a hand to win the heart and minds of the Civ Adm. It will also increase the tourism of Gurez Valley in the years to come. The tour was much appreciated by the students and the people of Kanzalwan sub sect and they looked for future educational events in the future.
