KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 6: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today visited various areas of block Qadirabad and Trehgam and inspected various ongoing development works. He also inspected various sections of Sub District Hospital Kupwara.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected various ongoing works under MPLADS at Gulgam-B and Trehgam area. The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the under construction Bar room at Trehgam and directed the concerned for its completion.
At District ICDS Office Branwari, the Deputy Commissioner assigned the charge of District Programme Officer to the ADDC Kupwara, Altaf Ahmad Khan for smooth functioning of the ICDS department. The Deputy Commissioner also visited Juvenile Justice Board at Branwari. He checked case disposal rate and stressed for clearance of pendency and proper counselling of juveniles found in conflict with law.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Sub District Hospital Kupwara and inspected various sections including OPD, IPD, Gynea, besides, interacted with doctors and patients. The Deputy Commissioner also inspected ongoing renovation work for establishment of Drug Deaddiction Centre in the SDH. He directed the concerned for speedy completion of the Centre so that patients will be facilitated.
